FROM CHAOS TO SPIRITUAL AWAKENING AND FOUNDING JUPITER'S EYE
THE EARLY YEARS
Born in 1974 in Kuwait to Egyptian parents, Hani's journey began when the first Gulf War forced him to stay in Egypt at the age of 16. He initially went through a challenging period for nine years, experimenting with drugs and experiencing a chaotic lifestyle.

DIFFERENT PATHS
After completing his studies, he realized that the path of Agricultural Science was not his true calling. Hani transitioned to the advertising world and worked as an art director in the Middle East. However, the glitz and glamour of the advertising world and Dubai couldn't fill the void he felt within, leading to a dark period marked by financial losses, health issues, and suicidal thoughts.
SURRENDER
In the midst of this darkness, a ray of hope emerged in the form of meditation, yoga, and spirituality. Hani's journey into self-discovery and healing began. During his meditations, he received a powerful and recurring message: "Surrender and Travel".
THE JOURNEY
In a leap of faith, Hani left behind his job, possessions, and the life he had known in Dubai, beginning a journey that took him from Europe to Australia, Egypt, Malaysia, Bali, Vietnam, and Cambodia. During this time, he developed deep and meaningful connections with the natural world, communicating with plants, animals, and insects, those non-human beings he fondly referred to as his "gurus." Simultaneously deepening his meditation and healing modalities, including crystal work, tarot cards, movement meditation, yoga, breathwork, bodywork, energy healing, and sound healing.

SPIRITUALITY AND SHAMANISM
Hani's quest for spiritual wisdom led him to renowned gurus, including Baba Ram Dass, Osho, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, and Eckhart Tolle. His life transformed, leading him to work with plant medicines, becoming a trusted plant medicine shaman while exploring other shamanic practices.

COMMUNITY AND GURUS
A calling led him to Hariharalaya Yoga and Meditation Retreat Center in Siem Reap, where he spent two and a half years living in a community, contributing as a shaman and healer. There he developed deep connections and love with gurus like Swami Ramdas, Papaji, Karl Renz, Nisargadatta Maharaj, and Anandamayi Ma. One fateful dream connected Hani with the famous Indian sage of the 20th century, Ramana Maharshi, who appeared as his father.
LOVE AND MARRIAGE
Then he met his soulmate, Sissi, at Hariharalaya where the new journey began. From there, they traveled to Egypt, where they exchanged vows, then celebrated their wedding in the ancient and sacred city of Tiruvannamalai, India, the home of Ramana Maharshi. And when they recognized Amma's call, they continued on their journey to Karela, culminating in a blessing from the divine Amma Mata Amritanandamayi.

REALIZATION
In Sri Ramana Ashram, Hani experienced a deep realization, as he recognized that there was only one Self looking at itself through different eyes. Sissi and Hani decided to settle down in Tiruvannamalai.

THE VISION
In a shamanic journey, Hani vividly envisioned a Cambodian wooden house for their healing work. Guided by intuition and their love, they decided to stay in Siem Reap instead of moving to India, driven by a deep desire to find the wooden house, which later would become Jupiter's Eye.

JUPITER'S EYE
United by love and their shared spiritual healing vision, they co-founded Jupiter's Eye, creating a sacred and safe space for spiritual healing. Together, they invite healers and seekers to explore into their inner Self and discover the wisdom, magic, joy, and love that reside within.
