For the upcoming moon cycle 28 February - 28 March 2025, I call upon a Being with a loving, supportive and helpful message for everyone reading the New Moon News.
I see a very feminine being in a deep blue dress with bell sleeves and a romantically flowing, soft fabric. Her hair is dark, long and wavy like seaweed, and her skin is pale, but glowing, like a pearl. She looks like some kind of water nymph. Playful and serious at the same time. There is something so delicate around her and a kind of heaviness. Joy and sadness. I move closer to connect with her, and then I see her eyes. They are big and captivating (they remind me a bit of the Japanese Sailor Moon anime from the 90’s). They hold every shade of blue I can imagine and looking at them feels like diving headfirst into the deep blue sea. The moment she merges with me, I feel every existing emotion within one second. I feel it all at once. For a few moments, I sit in silence, soaking up this state where words are not needed because everything is felt.
Then she started speaking:
“Many of you think about the earth when you hear the word “grounding”. You think of walking barefoot, of trees and their roots growing deep into the ground, you think of dark nourishing soil. I am here to remind you that the water is grounding, too. And water is going to be the key element in this next cycle. It is time for you all to connect with the water. Water is pure connection. There is no separation. Every drop is a wave is the whole ocean. Everything is one. So if you connect with the element of water, you will be grounded and connected at the same time.
Water is cleansing. Water is purifying. Water is sanctifying. Water is healing. So if you feel overwhelmed, confused or restless, connect with the water. Wash your hands, take a shower or a bath, have a swim in the river, dance in the rain, or just sit by the sea. The water is here to wash away everything that is not serving your highest good. So whenever you wash your hands, your body, your hair, do it with intention. Say it out loud. Ask the water to wash off whatever is limiting you. Thoughts, people, situations, patterns, whatever you want to cleanse from your body and energy field.
As you, energetically and physically, keep yourself clean and pure with water, Mother Gaia does the same. What happens in a flood? People lose their possessions, their homes, some even lose their lives, yes. But what happens in the bigger picture? Places are being cleansed, cleaned, washed. All the unnecessaries, distractions, everything that is not serving Mother Earth’s highest good is being washed off. And what’s left then, what then has space to come to the surface again, is compassion. Love. A helping hand. People coming together. Connection. So what a flood brings is a shift of values. A refocus on what’s really important: Community. Compassion. Love.
During this next moon cycle, play with the water. First, you let it clean, let it cleanse, let it purify you, and then you play with it. Talk to it. Water is so alive! Talk to the water you are made of. Talk to the water you are consuming. Talk to every glass before you drink it. Say a prayer, a spell, a wish, ask it to cleanse a specific area of your body, whatever comes to you, or just say thank you. Express your appreciation. Play healing frequencies for your water. Draw sacred geometry symbols on a piece of paper and put your glass on it to charge the water with it. Put your full attention to the water. There is so much you can learn from it and so much you can heal with it. Infuse your water with intention. Infuse your water with love. Infuse your water with energy. And then observe what happens.
And cry, if you can. Think of the fresh air and clear skies and clean streets after a necessary rainstorm. Every tear you cry is cleansing and releasing. So let them flow.
Water is a conduit. Not only for your muscles and joints and bones and tissue, but also for your spiritual connection. So make sure you drink enough.”
I ask her if she has a name, and she says “Lilja”. I instantly see a blue flower on dark water, a bit like a lotus, but not quite the same, and before I lose myself in thoughts about this flower, I thank Lilja and am deeply touched by the love flowing between us, as we part.
While Lilja’s message clearly speaks for itself, I would like to share with you what I found out after the channeling.
Lilja means Lily - but the flower I saw when she mentioned her name, was not a typical Lily. So I did some research and I found the exact flower Lilja showed me when she introduced herself:
The Blue Egyptian Water Lily!
Here are some facts about this sacred and magical flower:
Ancient Egypt: The Blue Egyptian Water Lily, or Nymphaea caerulea, held immense religious and cultural significance in ancient Egypt. It was associated with creation, rebirth, and the afterlife. It was often depicted in Egyptian art, hieroglyphs, and religious ceremonies. It was considered a sacred flower and garlands from it were placed on mummies.
Lily or Lotus: Despite its name, it's not a true lily (genus Lilium). It's a water lily, belonging to the Nymphaea genus, but often referred to as Blue Lotus
Rhizomes: It grows from thick, submerged rhizomes (horizontal underground stems)
Spirituality: Its ability to emerge from the murky depths of the water and bloom into a beautiful flower symbolizes the soul's journey of transformation and spiritual awakening. It was believed that the flower could assist the deceased in their passage to the afterlife, and it was often included in burial rituals and offerings.
Altered States of Consciousness: In ancient Egypt, it was used in religious ceremonies and rituals to induce altered states of consciousness, facilitating a deeper connection to the spiritual realm. It was believed that these altered states could provide insights into the mysteries of life and death.
