A new moon happens when the sun and the moon come together at the same degree of a sign. Looking up from Earth, they appear at the same spot. This so-called conjunction of the Sun and the Moon sets the energy for the whole 28-day moon cycle. This upcoming moon cycle is bringing push-and-pull energy and an entire shift of frequency. Especially the second half is going to be a collective initiation process where our egos will be heavily triggered, to show us how centered, balanced and authentic we are.
We are in the middle of a rebirth process, and we are going into hard labour now. The contractions are picking up the pace, and the bearing-down pains might bring us to our limit. There is no time for plans or strategy anymore, just our instinct and the deep knowledge that we were born to do this. We are here to create this new life together. Our souls chose to incarnate in this time because we all have something to feed, nourish, and contribute to this new world.
So this month, when more cycles are ending, more structures are crumbling, and more systems are collapsing than ever, remember there is no rebirth without death first. This is what the universe does. It recreates itself again and again. The particles you are made of have been a bright star once, which imploded millions of years ago and its dust fell onto the earth to create new forms, new life, new worlds and all of us.

The New Moon comes with a partial solar eclipse at exactly 9° Aries. These last 2 weeks (since the total lunar eclipse) have been a whirlwind for so many of us, and this eclipse, together with Neptune switching signs the day after (more info below), might be the peak. The ultimate turning point. That’s what eclipses are for. The universe shows us clearly what doesn’t align with us anymore. This can feel brutal, unexpected and even unfair at first. So if you feel like you’re being kicked in the ass lately, see it as the great opportunity the universe gives you: The opportunity to become more authentic, more aligned with your true purpose and more yourself.
Aries is all about determination, moving things forward and boldly exploring new paths. However, Neptune is still on the very last degree of his own sign Pisces today, the so-called cosmic gap, coming together in conjunction with Mercury and Venus, both retrograde. Retrograde phases are always an invitation to reflect rather than run ahead, so while the Aries energy pushes us forward, the retrograde planets in the cosmic gap with Neptune invite us to go inward. This push-and-pull energy is here to support us in truly making up our minds about what partnerships (romantically, professionally or amicably), mindsets or businesses we still feel aligned with. And then have the courage to let go of whatever doesn’t feel right anymore!

Neptune enters Aries
Boom! After 164 years, Neptune is entering the sign of Aries and starting a whole new cycle. Aries is the beginning of the Zodiac, so this is not a “normal” sign switch. It is a whole new round. A new 164-year-long adventure through the Zodiac wheel. A new level up the spiral of evolution. The dreamy, creative, compassionate and peaceful Neptune is being empowered by the Aries energy (which he will stay in until 2038), encouraging us to stand up for ourselves and our beliefs, and to handle conflicts peacefully.
The last time Neptune entered Aries, 164 years ago, marked the beginning of the American Civil War. Humanity has learned a lot about wars since then, so this will not be a repetition of then, it is a spiral movement upwards. This is evolution. So these next 13 years, while Neptune wanders through the warrior-sign Aries, will be the time for the visionaries, the spiritual pioneers, boldly paving new ways (Aries) for peace, for compassion, and for the highest good of all (Neptune).

Think back to 19/01/2025, which was the first of three conjunctions between these two planets. Are there any relations that have fulfilled their purpose and can be let go with love? Full Moon at 23° Libra
During a full moon, the sun and the moon are in opposition, which naturally brings a bit of tension. The sun, our consciousness, shines her bright light on the whole of the moon, our subconsciousness, our emotions, and what we need to feel safe. So, of course it can get emotional, inspiring and spine-tingling when our subconscious is in the spotlight!
What adds to this full moon is Chiron, the wounded healer, in conjunction with the sun and opposite the moon. Chiron shows us wounds that can only be healed by accepting them. In combination with the sun in Aries, it encourages us to embrace our own vulnerabilities and wear our “imperfections” with confidence and love. This is where real strength (Aries) lies!
Venus direct at 25° Pisces
At the same day of the full moon, Venus, the ruler of this full moon (Libra is her sign), our planet of love, relationships and our values, moves forward again in the peaceful sign of Pisces, supporting the full moon’s mission to accept, embrace and by that alchemize our “weakness” into authentic strength.

Mercury Conjunct Neptune at 1° Aries
Yesterday Mercury entered the assertive, impulsive and energetic sign of Aries, making our thoughts and communication clearer, bolder and straightforward. One day in, he already joins forces with Neptune, enhancing our intuition by showing us new perspectives and giving us new impulses, if we trust and dare to go new ways.

Mars enters Leo, Start of the Grand Cross
Mars represents our drive, energy, assertiveness, and on a lower frequency, our aggression and anger. As soon as he enters the fiery sign of Leo, a big aspect figure starts to build up until its peak on the 27th of April: a so-called grand cross. 4 planets, all at the same challenging angle to each other, form one big square (see picture below). This is the most demanding constellation of all, it’s 4 planets all pulling in different directions. In this grand cross, there are the most powerful forces involved: The sun (our life-force, also ego), Mars (our energy and drive, also anger & war), Lilith (liberation from what’s been suppressed, also feminine rage) and Pluto (transformation, death & rebirth, also control and power). This is one of the most tense times of the whole year, but absolutely necessary for this collective initiation process that we’re going through. A lot of darkness comes to the surface now, and yes, there is a risk of war, but we are all challenged to consciously (sun) choose peace over war. Within and without. So before you fight, argue or let the anger take over, turn the destructive energy into creative expression, art, and most of all: movement. Sport is the best channel for these intense warrior energies and boiling emotions. Ground yourself in nature, meditate to stay centered within yourself, and turn off your phone as much as you can. There are so many tools that support us during this tough time. Choose yours and stay in the light, because the light always wins.
